Winners of the Hockey Ticket Prize - Laurie Prior
& Trevor Gordon We have many events
happening in the area and within the club that we need to
consider for support and involvement:
- MEMBERS: Our current members are getting older
and our numbers are getting smaller. We need an influx of
new members to help share the job of supporting our village
and area. This is a top priority.
- HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: We have an obligation to
support this project which is being dedicated to former Lion
Henry Exel.
- COMMUNITY REVIVAL: We need to consider support
for this group which is attempting to revitalize the
village.
- THE POOL: We met with Huron East and expressed
our concerns. We are awaiting further actions. The new
Handicap Accessible washroom is under construction.
- HOMECOMING: A homecoming event is being planned
for next summer and we need to plan how we will need to be
involved.
- ELIMINATION DRAW: The draw in 2012 will be held
on June 2. Crystal Gage has been selected as the
entertainment. Other plans are in the works.
There are likely other activities that I have forgotten and
will be added as we go along.
